For nearly six thousand years, the outworking of Satan’s rule in our world, and its effects on both angels and men, has revealed the bitter fruit of rejecting God’s authority, government, and law. His unreasonable rebellion against God stands as a testimony to the universe, exposing both his true character and the terrible results of sin.

It was to redeem mankind and free the world from the grip of the Usurper that God sent his messiah, the man Jesus of Nazareth. His banner does not hide the cost of its victory. It is the banner of a king who died for his subjects. His death and resurrection secured the decisive victory over Satan, and soon he will return with all his regal authority to rule the earth with fairness and justice from the throne of his ancestor David for all eternity.

In our days, the long-standing controversy between Jesus and the Enemy is nearing its end. Now as before, there are only two parties upon the earth—those who stand under the dark banner of rebellion and those who stand under the bloodstained banner of Jesus Christ.
