For nearly six thousand years, the outworking of Satan’s rule in our world, and its effects on both angels and men, has revealed the bitter fruit of rejecting God’s authority. His unreasonable rebellion stands as a testimony to the universe, exposing both his true character and the terrible results of sin. It was to redeem mankind and free the world from the grip of the Usurper that God sent his messiah, the man Jesus of Nazareth. In our days, the long-standing controversy between Jesus and the Enemy is nearing its end. As before, there are only two parties upon the earth—those who stand under the dark banner of rebellion and those who stand under the bloodstained banner of Jesus Christ.
